I consider good PR to be both an art and science. I am an artist with the ability to keep it creative while I am also a scientist in how I execute. This is part of why I love working at VisiTech PR because we operate from this perspective.
In the past several years, I handled the media and analyst relations for more than 30 major industry events and road shows. My sphere of influence includes NAB, IBC and Mobile World Congress and we have relationships with the biggest influencers.
Super Powers
If OCD Woman had an outfit, I would wear it. I have a knack for prioritization, organization and project management.
I have a “spidey sense” when it comes to knowing what media and analysts want. This is why I’ve set meetings and garnered ink with the biggest pubs in tech and business such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Wireless Week, The Hollywood Reporter and TV Technology.
Geek Factors
I often spend my Friday nights studying mass communication theory and media effects.
I own every season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel on DVD. And I still watch them.
Unsolicited Advice
Expect more from your PR team. Don’t purchase arms and legs, purchase brains.
