Mosaik Solutions Partners with SightCall to Offer WebRTC Services

Mosaik to transform relationships between telecom providers and their customers through visual collaboration

MEMPHIS, Tenn. and BARCELONA, Spain – March 2, 2015 – Mobile World Congress – Mosaik Solutions, a leader in telecom business intelligence and visualization services, today at Mobile World Congress announced a partnership with SightCall, a leading WebRTC platform-as-a-service (PaaS). SightCall enables rich, visual experiences to drive greater engagement and improve relationships. Through this partnership, Mosaik will bring SightCall’s WebRTC video collaboration platform to global telecom service providers.

SightCall visually connects customers, customer care agents and field technicians to improve first call resolution, reduce churn and truck rolls, and fundamentally enhance bottom line performance. SightCall’s global WebRTC platform is unique in providing extraordinary flexibility while ensuring high availability to seamlessly integrate with legacy IT systems.

Incorporating this offering into Mosaik’s portfolio will enhance telecom providers’ traditional customer service by visually linking a customer to an agent. Furthermore, video collaboration via web or mobile device enables the customer to show the agent what’s going on exactly as they see it. This reduces confusion and enables faster   trouble resolution by allowing the agent to see the problem in the same context as the customer. SightCall has considerable flexibility, with robust APIs and browser and mobile OS support that goes beyond other WebRTC offerings in today’s market.

“More than 1 billion devices were enabled for WebRTC last year, and that number will continue to rise as more enterprises adopt practices for delivering better customer experiences,” said Thomas Cottereau, CEO of SightCall. “Our new relationship with Mosaik will expand the reach of SightCall to telecom providers where radical improvements to customer care will be a key differentiator in an exceedingly competitive marketplace. SightCall can help them move quickly into a new customer era by implementing the right set of real-time features.”

“Enabling telecom providers to deliver better experiences to their customers has always been our focus. A robust WebRTC service was a natural step for us to provide new and tangible value to our customers,” said Greg Hull, vice president of sales and corporate development at Mosaik. “Paramount to selecting SightCall is their unique differentiation with video collaboration. Approximately 40 percent of global enterprises use Internet Explorer and our telecom clients require flexible integrations with their legacy IT infrastructure. Mosaik’s SightCall offering may be licensed to telecom clients or white-labeled and distributed to a provider’s enterprise customers.”
